Library Rules and Regulations
Rules Governing Public Behavior in the Finkelstein Memorial Library
The Library Board of Trustees has adopted the following rules and regulations so that all may fully enjoy the use of our facilities and materials in safety and comfort.
Please DO NOT:
· Damage or unlawfully remove library property or materials
· Talk loudly or disrupt other people’s use of the library
· Eat food or drink beverages
· Place feet on tables or chairs
· Run or jump
· Loiter or solicit
· Smoke
· Sleep
· Leave children age 10 or under unattended, or with anyone under the age of 14, anywhere in
the library
· Bring pets, other than working service dogs, into the library
· Bring audio or sports equipment, games, skateboards or bicycles into the library
· Misuse restrooms (i.e. use as laundry or washing facility)
· Enter the building without shirt and/or shoes
· Use a cell phone in the library building
· Gamble
· Use alcohol, narcotics, or other illegal drugs on the library premises
· Engage in any activity that is illegal, unsafe, or disruptive
Violation of any one of these rules may subject individual(s) involved to exclusion from the library premises. All Library users must show proper ID upon request.
Terms and Conditions Changes
The Library may deem it necessary or appropriate from time to time to modify the Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in the way we operate, or use information, or changes regulations. This policy was last updated in August 2009. We continuously update our Terms and Conditions for the protection of the Library, and the quality of health information provided.
